Dirty Boys...

I mean Birds play host to the Dallas Cowboys tomorrow night. Last night SF pulled the straight up win and the total pushed, but no plays from the gurus. This game, however, might be a little different. The high powered Dallas offense comes into this game off an embarassing loss at home to the Saints. The Boys got demolished in this game as Drew Brees threw the ball around like a seal at a circus...but with even more accuracy. Romo has been very average the last two weeks...could the league be catching up to him? The Dirty Birds meanwhile are on a two game winning streak, but the offense has still been very shaky...managing just 15 points/game in their last 6. Atlanta has the #1 rush offense, which is mostly because of the extra yards Michael Vick adds to a very good back field. However, Dunn and Norwood are both looking like they are not going to play against the #6 rush D of the Boys. So the question in this game is: which Michael Vick will show up?

The Boys are giving 3.5 on the road and the total is at 44.5. I really don't like the total, because I really wonder how Vick will do, but would trend to the over. The line on the other hand is very intriguing to me. I think the injuries to Dunn and Norwood will kill the Dirty Birds and put a serious hurting on their playoff chances. I say give the points and watch dem Boys open a can of whoop ass on the Dirty Birds. My official selection is Boys - 3.5 for 3 stars.
